Task assignment is a great way to establish accountability, giving you the ability to delegate work to others within your team. When you create a new task, it will be unassigned by default. You may assign tasks to yourself, someone else, or to multiple people.
Assigning a task1. To assign a member to task, select your chosen member from the left hand side panel and then drag and drop them onto your task. The drag and drop feature is a quick and easy way to drop your members onto the the tasks that they’re responsible for.
2. Alternatively, to assign a member, select a task to open the task sidebar.
3. Simply tap on the + icon situated next to UNASSIGNED. A drop-down menu will appear, where you will be able to select the project members that you would like to assign to the task.
4. The avatars of the people who have been assigned to a task will be shown on the task circle.
5. When a Business member has been assigned to a task, the tasks that they’re assigned to will appear within their calendar. You can view a calendar that belongs to another team member. To learn more about Team Calendars, click here.
