Emailing Tasks In
No matter where you are or what you’re doing, when an urgent and ‘must do’ task finds its way into your thoughts, you can send it over to DropTask in an instant. Emailing tasks into DropTask will mean that your to dos will land straight into a productive environment, ready for the next time you log in. This way – even if it’s only momentarily – it’s out of your mind and you can return to it when you’re ready to get to action.
You Have 2 Email Addresses to Send Tasks to:1. If you are sending an email from the email address you have already associated with your DropTask account, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can only email tasks straight to email@example.com if you’re sending emails from the email address associated with your DropTask account
2. When you email a task, the subject of your email will become the task name, and the body of the email will be the task description. Hit send to propel the task into DropTask – and once you log in, you’ll see it waiting for you in your Notification Centre.
3. Any emails or attachments that have been sent to your DropTask account can be opened in the Notification Centre, where you have the ability to place it into a project of your choice.
To Email a Task1. Enter either the firstname.lastname@example.org email address, or copy and paste your unique DropTask address into the ‘To’ section of your email.
2. The subject of your email will become the task name, and the body of the email will be the task description. When you’re ready, hit ‘Send’ to shoot the task into DropTask. When you log in next, you’ll see it waiting for you in your Notifications.
